DVDTalk

DVD Talk was founded in 1999 when DVDs and DVD players were first beginning to hit the market. The site was started by Geoffrey Kleinman (bio) who wanted to create an online resource to help people decide what to watch on DVD. The site started in January of 1999 as an online forum, an email newsletter and a page of DVD news and reviews. Membership to the DVD Talk Forum quickly grew as did the DVD Talk Newsletter, quickly making the site the most widely read DVD publication of its kind. As the site grew, it expanded to include a complete Review Database as well as regular columns including: The DVD Savant and CinSchlock-O-Rama. To date DVD Talk has over 50 writers and contributors who do DVD reviews, interviews, features, columns and more. In 2004 DVD Talk launched an online radio/podcast called DVD Talk Radio. Even though DVD Talk has grown to be the top Online DVD Site and the most widely read DVD publication we still take an extremely artisan approach to what we do. Reader feedback, comments and suggestions all greatly impact what we do on the site and we constantly strive to improve everything we do.
