HealthStatus LLC was formed in 1998 (reorganized as an LLC in 2016), and is a privately held company located in Indianapolis, Indiana. By using the algorithms from the Healthier People project of the Carter Center of Emory University, an Internet based health risk assessment was created, along with several calculators to take a quick snapshot of a person’s health. This coincided with the mission of HealthStatus: To enable people to quickly and easily determine and track the status of their health and health risks compared to U.S. national averages, and scientific standards. We continue on this mission by adding more assessments and calculators and making them available to consumers by visiting our site. Our tools are also available for license by other websites, please visit HRA.net if you are interested in adding our assessments to your website, or using them in your wellness program.

HealthStatus works to add easy to use, useful, calculators and assessments to the Internet. We have been recognized in both electronic and print media as a straightforward and reliable source for health calculations. At the end of 1999 HealthStatus.com had placed ten calculators and assessments on the Internet, by 2002 that has grown to fifteen calculators and five different assessments. Members also can use our personal tracker software, which tracks critical health measures over time. HealthStatus LLC is a non-covered entity. We protect your information using HIPAA standards and we do not share your personally identifiable medical information with anyone.
