FOCUS 50+, originally known as FOCUS on Senior Citizens of Tuscaloosa County, was founded in 1972 and has provided senior services continuously in Tuscaloosa County since. Built on identifying the unique needs of mature adults and creatively developing means through which these needs could be met, FOCUS 50+ provides programs and services for adults ages 50 and above at every stage of life. From homebound clients to the actively engaged senior, FOCUS 50+ ensures all mature adults have the ability to remain active, healthy, and independent.
