TRAVELBOOK is a service of Axel Springer Deutschland GmbH and was launched in 2013 as an online magazine for travel topics. Every day, we report competently, comprehensibly and independently on topics from the world of travel.

TRAVELBOOK aims to provide travel enthusiasts and cosmopolitan people with inspiration, entertainment, knowledge and news about travel. In doing so, we focus on orientation and on comprehensible, independent and high-quality journalism that is balanced and scientifically sound. TRAVELBOOK is supported by a network of industry experts, scientists and travellers, who advise us on content and review contributions.

Our aim is to inform people about travel topics – reputably and based on scientific standards. We would like to provide TRAVELBOOK readers with knowledge as well as the connections and backgrounds that should inspire them for future trips and support them in their planning. We report on stories of unique places, prepare reports from adventurers and globetrotters and show photos of natural wonders and sights from all over the world. In addition to the classic travel topics, readers will find recipes for international world dishes and quizzes from the fields of geography and travel knowledge.
