95.3 1530 FM AM Onda Canaris

Ondas Cañaris, on its frequencies of 95.3 FM and 1530 AM, is a media outlet of the Catholic University of Cuenca. It focuses on disseminating content aimed at cultural learning, education, research, and community outreach. Through radio narrative, the University can disseminate university activities to its social environment and to the world through Information and Communication Technologies.

Academia plays a fundamental role in social transformation; thus, this media outlet strengthens the values of freedom of expression and participation among various stakeholders in society (journalists, broadcasters, teachers, researchers, students, the general public, and the target audience).

Our democratic work shares programming that responds to the informal education, information, and entertainment needs of external audiences (native and technological migrants) and the university community.
