97.3 FM Radio Corporacion

Radio Corporación was founded as a media outlet serving the people of Loja, in southern Ecuador. After many years of management, Roosevelt Barrazueta León, a renowned journalist with a long history in sports coverage, and his family secured the concession for the 97.3 FM frequency in September 2001.

At dusk on January 11, 2002, it broadcast its first test signal, officially launching its service on January 24 of the same year, originally under the name Radio Súper Colosal 97.3 FM.

On February 24, 2010, as part of an image renewal, the Radio Corporación 97.3 FM brand was registered.

As a result of the rapid changes in technology and telecommunications, in October 2011, Radio Corporación appeared before the world with a 3.0 platform www.corporacionradio.com, currently supported by various digital social networks.

Radio Corporación is a media outlet for which credibility is its most valuable asset, achieved through the objectivity, impartiality, and seriousness with which it presents information from all sectors of national and international life, a hallmark that has allowed it to maintain its top ratings in southern Ecuador.
