It works closely with individual businesses, public agencies and local authorities and other tourism stakeholders to maximise the economic benefits of tourism to Scotland through:

*marketing Scotland to the world through international and UK campaigns, directed by a strategy designed to maximise the economic impact on Scotland's economy

*providing information and inspiration to visitors through print, websites, an outreach programme, support and advice we give to businesses

*working closely with tourism businesses and other partners to make sure that their activities are aligned with the national strategy, and that we’re all working towards a common goal
