Joe Rosenstein

Joe Rosenstein is a university educator, community leader, and author of many publications related to Judaism and Mathematics.

He began writing prayer books after decades of teaching community courses on Judaism and spirituality, gaining an intimate understanding of the obstacles that adults often face in engaging and connecting with prayer.

He began writing math articles and textbooks following decades of leading summer institutes for teachers of mathematics, gaining a deep understanding of the obstacles that teachers and students face in learning and leveraging mathematics for real-world applications.

Joe Rosenstein served as a professor of mathematics at Rutgers University for 48 years before retiring in 2017.
