JEPT

The JEPT – Journal of Electrochemistry and Plating Technology– is an online journal aimed at researchers and developers of the electroplating and electrochemical industry as well as at interested users. The JEPT informs readers about the latest and most exciting developments in the field of surface technology. Focuses are, in particular, the results of research and development in the field of electroplating as well as topics around electrochemical fundamentals. This also includes comparisons and assessments of alternative methods of electroplating.

In a unique way, the JEPT combines the practical relevance for the user industries with the demands for citability and internationality of scientifically important magazines. This promotes the exchange necessary among these two different target groups and makes progress in the field of electroplating and electrochemistry accessible and usable for both sides.

Behind the high quality of the content JEPT provides, there is a first-class advisory board: it consist, among others, of members and committees of the Deutschen Gesellschaft für Galvano- und Oberflächentechnik (DGO), an industry-related scientific-technical association. Furthermore, the scientific orientation is clearly represented by the management of the advisory board in the form of Prof. Bund, holding the university chair in the field of electrochemistry and electroplating at the Technical University of Ilmenau. Moreover, the internationality and the proximity to university and industry are also reflected by the other members.
