Canale 21
Canale 21 (Napoli Canale 21 until 2013) is a television station founded in 1976 , with headquarters in Naples and Rome. It was founded after the bankruptcy of Telediffusione Italiana Telenapoli, with the intention of creating an alternative structure to the state-owned one, and dedicated entirely to Naples and Campania, using broadcasting via the airwaves. The name of the station derives from the first UHF channel (21, precisely) used for its broadcasts, as well as referring to the article of the Constitution on freedom of expression.
