Antenna Sicilia

Antenna Sicilia is a regional television station that broadcasts in Sicily. It is owned by Domenico Sanfilippo Editore, the publishing company of the regional daily newspaper La Sicilia. It is broadcast on channel 10 of digital terrestrial and live streaming on the web. Antenna Sicilia began broadcasting on June 16, 1979. The station was born from a rib of the daily newspaper La Sicilia.

The television network was christened by the famous presenter Pippo Baudo, who also hosted the Sicilian song festival on Antenna Sicilia in 1980, in addition to the program Goal. The excellent collaborations continued in 2011 when the station broadcast the talk show Servizio Pubblico by Michele Santoro, together with Cielo. After a period of decline, Antenna Sicilia returned to its splendor with the program Insieme by Salvo La Rosa. Initially Antenna Sicilia also broadcast soap operas, television series and anime. Today the program Insieme is at the center of the station's programming.
