The Grundy County Herald, owned by Lakeway Publisher, Inc., is a weekly publication in Grundy County, Tennessee.
The paper was first published in 1901 and was known as the Mrs. Grundy newspaper and later became the North Grundy Star. The Grundy County Herald combined with the North Grundy Star in 1965 covering all 8 cities.
Tourism is on the rise in the Cumberland Mountain region with many outdoor attractions, miles of hiking, sky high bluffs with beautiful views and many waterfalls.
