The Journal of Continuing Education in Nursing is a monthly peer-reviewed journal publishing original research and review articles on continuing nursing education for continuing educators, professional development educators, nurse administrators, and nurse educators in all health care settings.
The journal is affiliated with the American Nurses Credentialing Center, Accreditation Program. Each issue features columns providing teaching tips, examining administrative issues, and promoting leadership and development.
The Journal of Continuing Education in Nursing is a subscription-based publication, supported primarily by both institutional and individual subscriptions. The journal offers a hybrid open access option, whereby articles are made freely available online immediately upon publication in exchange for payment of an article processing charge.
