Humboldt Journal SK
The East Central Recorder serves Humboldt, Tisdale, Melfort, Nipawin and the surrounding rural communities. It was founded in 1906 by E.W Schell as the Tisdale Monitor. It was soon renamed the Carrot River Valley Recorder and then the Tisdale Recorder. The newspaper was purchased by Glacier Media in 2004. In 2019, the Tisdale Recorder merged with the East Central Trader, expanding the area it serves. As of April 1, 2022, the paper is digital-only, hosted on SASKTODAY.ca.
