Parker Pioneer AZ

The Parker Pioneer is our weekly newspaper that serves the town of Parker, Arizona, and several communities on the California side of the Colorado River. We’ve been the main source of local news – in print or on Parkerpioneer.net -- and advertising in La Paz County for more than 50 years. We print over 4,000 copies every Wednesday We cover the local news and events, including Parker High School sports and the Colorado Indian Tribe. We publish special sections on Parker 425, Parker Women in Business, The Parker Winter Visitors Guide, Parker Home Improvement and the Parker 2019 Graduation.

Today’s News-Herald and the Parker Pioneer are published by River City Newspapers, LLC, (RCN) of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. RCN is a partnership of Wick Communications, Inc. and Western News and Info., Inc. (formerly Western Newspapers, Inc.). It publishes the 7-day daily Today’s News-Herald in Lake Havasu City, the weekly Parker and a number of other direct mail and specialty publications. The company was formed Feb. 1, 1995. Initially the company ran the business operations for two competing daily newspapers.
