The Xenia Daily Gazette is a Pulitzer-Prize winning newspaper serving Greene County, Ohio since 1868. The Gazette is the flagship publication of four Greene County Newspapers serving its readership with a balanced and fair account of news and providing advertising services that one cannot get anywhere else. The Gazette received the Pulitzer Prize for spot news reporting in 1975 for its coverage of its coverage after the devastating April 3, 1974 tornado that destroyed the city and killed 34 residents. As the county seat newspaper, our goal is to give readers important news that impacts their lives in a variety of ways in print and online, whether its in our small rural communities like Jamestown and Cedarville or growing cities like Beavercreek.
