Johnston Sunrise RI
A weekly newspaper in Rhode Island, the Johnston Sun Rise is the only source of all-local news for residents, covering everything that happens from government to schools and beyond. Originally owned by the Observer publications under the direction of Kimball Burgess, the Johnston Sun Rise was purchased by Beacon Communications in 2006. It is a free, weekly newspaper distributed on Thursdays throughout the Town of Johnston, under the direction of Editor Meg Fraser. Beacon is also the publisher for the Warwick Beacon and Cranston Herald newspapers.
