ABM - Associacao Brasileira de Metalurgia, Materiais e Mineracao

ABM - Associação Brasileira de Metalurgia, Materiais e Mineração (Brazilian Association of Metallurgy, Materials and Mining) is a non-profit civil association whose objective is to bring together individuals and legal entities for collective actions that promote the development of people, technical and scientific advancement, and innovation in processes, products, and management in their respective areas of activity.

Since its founding in 1944, it has developed numerous initiatives to ensure and strengthen the competitiveness of companies, promoting the dissemination of technical and scientific knowledge.

Primarily aimed at developing human resources as a key factor in enabling organizations to implement innovations, ABM provides a wide range of documents and publications, an annual calendar of events (congresses, seminars, symposia and workshops), awards and training courses.

These activities generate hundreds of technical contributions, in addition to promoting the exchange of information and the interaction of industry professionals, professors, researchers, and students.

Its membership consists of companies, institutions, universities, and individuals connected to the metallurgy, materials, and mining sectors.
