Owned by Weigel Broadcasting Co., WDJT first hit the airwaves in 1994, bringing viewers a lineup of classic reruns and beloved movies. On March 18 of that same year, we launched our first newscast and since then, our audience has trusted us to deliver the news and explain how it affects their lives. Today, we produce more than 40 hours of local news each week across both CBS 58 and our fully independent sister station, WMLW. In addition to our award-winning news coverage, we are proud to serve as over-the-air partners for the Milwaukee Bucks. We also produce CBS 58 Sunday Mornings, a weekly, long-form program that spotlights enterprise reporting from the communities we call home.

CBS 58 is owned by Weigel Broadcasting, a leader in operating national broadcast television entertainment networks. Along with CBS 58, Weigel’s three other Milwaukee properties are WBME MeTV, independent station WMLW, and Telemundo Wisconsin, which is seen statewide. Telemundo Wisconsin is proud to be the Spanish-language broadcast partner of the Milwaukee Brewers and the Green Bay Packers.
