The Riverton Times was founded in 1949 by Bob and Roy Peck, and in 1953 merged with the Riverton Review to become the Riverton Ranger. For the last seven decades, the Ranger has been a community staple that preserves the history of the region and serves as a hallmark of life in Central Wyoming.
