Community Broadcast Partners is a small independent privately owned radio company based in Abilene, Texas. Community Broadcast Partners owns and operates two radio stations in Abilene, Texas – now known as KABW-FM “95.1 the Wolf” which is a mainstream country station and KORQ-FM “Q Country 96.1” which is a hybrid of Classic and Texas country along with a mix of Ag and local news. In late 2021 David purchased radio station KRBL-FM “105.7 the Red Dirt Rebel” in Lubbock, TX”. The owner, David Klement, began working with the Abilene SBDC in 2021 in developing a business plan and has continued their relationship since then. David aims his programming at the rural population and those who serve the agriculture industry. His unique advantage over competition comes from being a privately held company, which enables quick decision making. His focus and beliefs are to strive to give back to the local community.
