97.7 ACK FM WACK Nantucket MA

In May of 2012, 97.7 ACK-FM was born as a brand new radio station right here on Nantucket Island, Massachusetts. Until then, Nantucket did not have a radio station to call its own. The local founders/owners of the radio station felt that the island needed a radio station focused solely on Nantucket… that would provide information and entertainment to Island residents and visitors while also being a consistent year round companion to truly serve the community located 30 miles out to sea. Nantucket is a unique and special place..and it needed a unique and special radio station to call its own. Since then, we are proud and pleased that 97.7 ACK-FM has quickly become a key and unique part of life and lifestyle on Nantucket!
