Algoa FM

Algoa FM is the biggest media house in the Eastern Cape and Garden Route, with a presence on-air, online and on the ground. The station connects with adults who enjoy good music and indulge in quality life experiences from the Garden Route to the Wild Coast, and inland through the Karoo. The company has expanded both its broadcast footprint and media mix since the station went live on January 1, 1986. In December 2011 the broadcast footprint expanded to include the Garden Route, in particular: Knysna, George and Mossel Bay. The footprint is now global through online streaming and accessible via satellite on DSTV Channel 837.

Listeners also tune in for global, national, regional and local news, as well as sport, local traffic, weather reports, great music and the latest entertainment updates. They also connect through social media, including Facebook, X, TikTok, and Instagram. On the ground, Algoa FM personalities host events and promotions throughout the broadcast area. Algoa FM operates from its studios in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), East London and George.
