Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange, & Chatham Counties

Charted in 1962, our local Home Builders Association began serving Durham and Orange Counties as a non-profit trade association affiliated with the North Carolina Home Builders Association and the National Association of Home Builders. The goal of the association was, as still is, to provide service and representation to and for our members – contractors and associated professionals – in support of the building industry at large and in our area. We expanded in 2005 to incorporate the Chatham Homebuilders, Inc., and became what we are known as today – the HBADOC, the #coolhba HBADOC promotes the American dream of home ownership through education, advocacy, and professional development.
