Talk Of The Town

Talk of the Town (TotT), based in Port Alfred, is the newspaper of record for Ndlambe, covering the picturesque Sunshine Coast from Alexandria to Kleinemonde and all the communities in between, and inland to Grahamstown with all towns in between. Twenty eight years old this year, TotT was acquired by Johncom, now Arena Holdings in 2005.

In an increasingly competitive market, TotT remains the community newspaper of choice in Ndlambe. The newspaper covers a range of news topics, from crime and court cases to dramatic sea rescues involving our outstanding local NSRI crew. In the interests of serving our community fearlessly and without favour, we don’t shy away from reporting on local controversies.

Talk of the Town also seeks out everything that is positive and upbeat about our community. We cover school news, the cultural scene and profile interesting people in business, sports and the art world. Some are newcomers to the area while others have roots going back generations.
