The spring of 2020 has shown that many things that we considered unchangeable are, when viewed closely, only of relative importance. Take the Olympic Games, for example. The year 2020 will be the first Olympic year without the Games, but the world does not stop turning because of that. In Belgium, we almost experienced a year without a motor show. Unthinkable, a year without a motor show for the first time since 1960? Just ask the organizers of Geneva, Paris or Frankfurt what they think!

All this is just an introduction to underline that the concessionaires and workshops have indeed proven their usefulness in this health crisis. Their customers were on the front line to supply hospitals and supermarkets. It was necessary to guarantee this mobility, even in the most difficult circumstances. That does not mean that everything was rosy. The challenges resulting from the new economic crisis are immense, but they are only an additional challenge to those of alternative propulsion and connectivity. The articles in this issue, “Special Services', bear witness to this.

To arm themselves against all these challenges, all the business strength of a concession is needed and in that respect we can fully trust them.
