For once, in this contribution, we are going to talk about ourselves. I am talking specifically about TRANSPORTMEDiA, as the publisher of this magazine. More specifically, about the new initiatives that we continue to devise, despite the gloomy economic situation. initiatives related to our magazines, our television broadcasts and our e-communication.
In terms of our magazines, there will be a special edition of TRANSPORT Management, which – as the official trade fair catalogue – will be entirely devoted to TransTechnica (Brussels, 16 and 17 May). This B2B trade fair is organised by Autotechnica. The show profiles itself as an 'aftersales trade fair for trucks, trailers, transport & industry'. In terms of television, our offer has so far been limited to the Flemish part of the country with the broadcasts of TRANSPORT.TV, LOGISTICS.TV and BOUW.TV on Kanaal Z. This is now changing, because in April, LOGISTICS.TV will be on the screen for the first time with our French-speaking friends at Canal Z. This first broadcast is the ideal opportunity to shed light on the many logistical assets of a region where the industry has taken quite a beating since the outbreak of the crisis.
We can also proudly announce that for our BOUW.TV broadcasts we can now count on the support of Bouwunie, a Flemish employers' organisation that defends the interests of SME companies in the construction sector. This collaboration opens up a whole new range of opportunities, both editorially and commercially. Construction entrepreneurs will feel more attracted to BOUW.TV than ever before. For our 'e-communication' (www.transportmedia.be and our weekly e-newsletters) we have also taken a new hurdle. In collaboration with Jobat we have developed the 'job offer' module, exclusively reserved for the transport and logistics sectors. Job advertisements will now be visible on two frequently visited websites, which will give the impact of your communication an unprecedented boost.
Please do not hesitate to give us your opinion on our various communication channels. Expressions of support or criticism: from the perspective of 'everything can be improved' we are constantly working to make progress.
