Advanced Control for Applications

The aim is to attract papers on control applications and particularly, but not exclusively, those associated with industrial applications. Papers must contain a novel control theory or design content and can include:

• Good theoretical application studies that are backed up by simulation results.
• Application papers concerned with the details of modelling physical processes, system simulation and the use of system identification methods.
• New control system design philosophies and formal design procedures.
• Control topologies and applications at both regulating and supervisory levels, and the related problems of estimation, fault monitoring and benchmarking.
• Papers on challenging control design problems where achieving desired performance is difficult and novel solutions have been obtained.
