Adventure Sports Journal is California’s original outdoor magazine. Since 2001, we have faithfully produced millions of copies and shared thousands of stories to a growing readership. We work closely with event producers, athletes, advocacy groups, and non-profits to help tell their stories and encourage people to enjoy and take care of the places we cherish.

For most of our readers the cost of a subscription isn’t substantial, but we still make ourselves available to anyone for free, regardless of material wealth. That’s because we believe that outdoor adventures offer a path to true happiness and should be made accessible to everyone. By being available for free, ASJ supports the outdoor community we are a part of.
