Buffed (stylized as buffed and buffed.de ) is a computer game portal operated by the Computec Media Group , focusing on online games such as MMORPGs . It was launched on August 24, 2006, under the domain buffed.de; from August 22, 2007, until the end of 2016, the publisher also released a bimonthly print magazine. The name "Buffed" is derived from the colloquial English term for casting buffs in role-playing games ( to buff , meaning to polish or refresh).
