Szyfrokrzyżówki (Cipher crosswords)

Cipher crosswords – or simply "Szyfro" – are fun and engaging to solve, though quite different from regular crosswords. There are no long lists of definitions for horizontal and vertical words. Most often, only one definition appears, and individual letters in the grid are encrypted with different numbers. Solving them, which involves uncovering subsequent letters and guessing all the encrypted words one by one, can be truly rewarding!

In the monthly "Cypher Crosswords" magazine, we offer a selection of large and medium-sized cipher crosswords, as well as tasty cipher cocktails – in which small cipher crosswords form harmonious trios, and their definitions are paired. The issue is complemented by inventive mini-sized arithmetic crosswords. Solutions to most puzzles are provided in the issue, while some cipher crosswords come with an index of the guessed words. Solving selected cipher crosswords can win 5,000 PLN in cash.
