Jamaica Times
The Jamaica Times is a community newspaper published by TimesLedger Newspapers — part of the QNS network — serving southeast Queens (including the Jamaica neighborhood) and surrounding areas. Over time the publication expanded its coverage: in 2011, the Jamaica Times merged with the editions for the Queens Village Times and Laurelton Times to provide broader community-wide news across adjoining neighborhoods. The newspaper provides a regular “digital edition” (on QNS’s website) listing issues from many years, showing that it remains active and continues to serve as a primary source of local news for southeast Queens.
