The Flushing Times is one of the weekly community newspapers under the umbrella of TimesLedger Newspapers, covering the neighborhood of Flushing, Queens and surrounding parts of northeast Queens. It was first launched in 1992 as part of a wave of new local papers introduced by the company. Over the years it has served as a key source of local news, community events, public-service reports, neighborhood developments, demographic changes, and stories reflecting the vibrant multicultural character of Flushing.
