CNN TÜRK

CNN Türk is a news channel broadcasting under the umbrella of the American CNN company and Demirören Holding . Based in Istanbul , its best-known programs include 5N1K , Bir Yudum İnsan , and Oradaydım .

CNN Türk, which began broadcasting on the terrestrial frequency of Eko TV , owned by Doğan Holding , initially aired some programs translated directly from English . Between 1999 and 2006, its logo was located in the lower right corner. From 2005 to 2008, it broadcast Formula 1 , for which it had acquired the broadcasting rights .

From 2006 to 2010, its logo was moved to the upper right corner. On January 28, 2008, it relinquished its terrestrial broadcasting frequencies to TNT and temporarily ceased broadcasting. Later, the terrestrial broadcasting license of TV5 was purchased, and CNN Türk's broadcast was returned to rooftop antennas. In 2010, like all CNN channels, CNN Türk moved its logo back to the lower right corner. On September 17, 2012, it switched to the 16:9 broadcasting format.
