RPR1. (for Rheinland-Pfälzische Rundfunk GmbH & Co. KG ) is a private radio station in Rhineland-Palatinate. The station was founded in 1985 and began broadcasting on April 30, 1986 at 6:30 p.m. This makes it one of the first nationwide private radio stations in Germany. The station plays an adult contemporary format (AC) and is aimed at the 30 to 59 year old target group.
