Ming Pao Education Publishing Limited

Ming Pao Education Publishing Limited, a subsidiary of the World Chinese Media Group , not only publishes and distributes print textbooks, but also develops e-textbooks and e-learning platforms. We are deeply committed to the development of the education sector. Therefore, in 2010, we established a team to support and collaborate with schools on their long-term development. Our goal is to enhance student learning and support learning and teaching through high-quality services.

In 2012, to support the development of e-textbooks in Hong Kong, Ming Pao Education Publishing Co., Ltd. participated in the first e-textbook market development plan organized by the Hong Kong Education Bureau and was officially authorized by the Education Bureau to develop e-textbooks to support the local junior secondary "Life and Society" curriculum. The e-textbooks were approved and launched in the 2014/15 academic year.

That same year, we launched the printed textbooks for the junior high school course "Life and Society" and the senior high school course "General Education." We hoped to incorporate News Corp.'s daily news reports and commentary into the textbook materials. "There is a tremendous synergy between journalism and general education. With proper processing and continuous updating, they become living textbooks."
